Ontmoetingskerk

Katwijk aan den Rijn, NL

The Dutch Reformed Meeting Church at Nieuwe Duinweg 64 stands on the same spot as the wooden emergency church. That wooden Meeting Church was an old Zuiderzee barracks that moved to Katwijk in 1954. In 1961, the chapel was destroyed by a tornado. The new Meeting Church by architects Kraan and van Nieuwkoop was built on the same spot. A photo of the old Zuiderzee barracks hangs in the hall of the church. And on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of this congregation, a commemorative book was published in 2004.

Ontmoetingskerk

Dordrecht, NL

Modern church without tower in the Sterrenburg district. Built as a Reformed Church.

Ontmoetingskerk

Oudewater, NL

Modern church building without tower, built as a Reformed Church. In 2005 this became the church of the Protestant Community of Oudewater (PGO), after a merger between the local Reformed Church and the Dutch Reformed sub-community "De Biezen", which until then had used its own "church centre". The Grote of St. Michaëlskerk in Oudewater has remained a separate Reformed community, with a Reformed Bond signature, which is separate from the PGO.

Ontmoetingskerk

Gorinchem, NL

New church of the Free Evangelical Community, put into use on March 8, 2015. The design of the new church is by Bureau Architraaf.

Ontmoetingskerk

Enschede, NL

The Reformed Western Church was built in 1932 at GJ van Heekstraat 338 in the Twekkelerveld district. This church was sold to the Reformed Church in 1967 and was then named Ontmoetingskerk. In 1983, the tower was demolished and the bell was placed in a belfry. When the Samen op Weg congregation was formed, the church was sold to the New Apostolic Church in 1989. In the autumn of 2004, the New Apostolic Church moved to Almelo and merged with the congregation in Almelo. The church building was sold and on 5 February 2005, the first service was held by the Acts Revival Church Enschede, a black African Pentecostal congregation with English and Dutch as the main languages. There is also a French-speaking Pentecostal church in Enschede. It meets in the Dutch Reformed Eastern Church from 1929. (53-05)
