Onze Lieve Vrouw van Altijddurende Bijstand

Sliedrecht, NL

Small church from 1948 in traditionalist style, designed by architect Nic. Molenaar jr.; contractor was S. Geers from Voorburg. Before that time, church services were held in a temporary church, which stood in front of the current church on the Stationsweg, corner of Tiendweg. It was an old management shed of machine factory Smulders from Utrecht. This building was erected in the winter of 1918-1919 and consecrated on 19-03-1919 by pastor P. van der Cammen of the Antonius van Padua parish of Dordrecht, of which the Sliedrecht church became a branch church. Since the independence of the OLV Onbachtigte Ontvangenis parish of Papendrecht in 1960, Sliedrecht has been part of Papendrecht. In 1977 Sliedrecht became more or less and in 2003 definitively an independent parish. In 1998, the SAP was founded, a partnership between the parishes of Sliedrecht, Alblasserdam and Papendrecht, which was transformed into the Alblasserwaard-West federation in 2001. The planned expansion of the side room (sacristy) at the rear started in January 2006 and was completed in the summer of 2006.

Onze Lieve Vrouw van Altijddurende Bijstand

Baarle-Nassau, NL

The Reformed Church was founded around 1920 by a number of members and its minister from the Christian Reformed Church. In March 1921, a building was rented for the congregation's meetings. On 20 July 1921, the congregation was instituted. The congregation expired and ceased to exist around 1925. In 1934, a new Reformed Church was founded. Two members, again from the Christian Reformed Church, jointly purchased the 'Evangelization room' on Dwars Nieuwstraat. The building had 280 seats. This congregation was instituted on 24 October 1934. In 1962, the congregation decided to build a new building. The last church service was held in the church building on Sunday 17 November. The new church building was officially put into use on 21 November 1968.

Onze Lieve Vrouw van Altijddurende Bijstand

Geleen, NL

Roman Catholic parish church from 1929 in the former village of Lindenheuvel, later annexed by Geleen. Architecturally extremely important interbellum church, the first (and now only) church building in the Geleen district of Lindenheuvel, after the demolition of the two other, later, churches in this district (St. Barbara and HH Engelbewaarders). Crucifix church with west tower and very wide central nave, designed according to the concept of the people's church.

Onze Lieve Vrouw van Altijddurende Bijstand / Koepelkerk

Bussum, NL

The church is considered an important work in the later oeuvre of Joseph Cuypers (1861 - 1949) (in collaboration with his son Pierre Cuypers Jr (1891 - 1982)) and is one of the three domed churches they built in the 1920s. The other two are the St. Laurentius in Dongen and the St. Agatha in Beverwijk. These three churches are closely related both stylistically (influence of (brick) expressionism) and spatially (central construction with dome).

Onze Lieve Vrouw van de Allerheiligste Rozenkrans

Leiden, NL

Interesting reconstruction chapel without tower. Built as a church of the Apostolic Society. Extension of the rectory on the right in 2000. In 2011 sold by the Apostolic Society to the Roman Catholic Brotherhood of St. Pius X. After a thorough renovation and furnishing of the chancel in 2012, it was put into use as the Roman Catholic Chapel of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, SSPX. This replaced the chapel on a nave in The Hague.

Onze Lieve Vrouw van de Allerheiligste Rozenkrans

De Goorn, NL

In many ways interesting interbellum church with tower, in late neo-Gothic to expressionist forms. No transept. Replaced an earlier church. The high tower is sober, with a copper-green spire. To the left of the church is an older parsonage. To the right of the church is the large Roman Catholic cemetery behind the church. On the right side of the choir, left along the path towards the cemetery, a small Marian chapel was added around the beginning of 2010, which is open daily. Inside, against the walls of both aisles, the 14 Stations of the Cross are placed. These probably come from the earlier church on site. In the choir 5 stained glass windows from the construction period.
