Sint-Joriskerk

The earliest mentions of a Saint George chapel, date from 1201. But the chapel wasn’t consecrated before 1304. Destroyed by the French at the end of the 18th century, the church was rebuilt in its neo-Gothic style in 1853.

Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-van-Genadekerk

Notre-Dame Church, officially called "Our Lady of Grace" was built by the Jesuits in the 16th century. The neo-Gothic church was built in 1877 under the direction of architects Jules Bilmeyer and Joseph Van Riel and consecrated in 1882. The two beautiful slender towers were added later. Today, the church is mainly visited by the Polish community.

Parochiekerk Heilige Geest

The Parish Church of the Holy Spirit is a neo-Romanesque basilica from 1927-1931. Damaged during the WWII, it was repaired in 1944-1947 and 1956.

Shomre Hadass Synagogue

The Shomre Hadass Synagogue Bouwmeesters straat in Antwerpen is an Ashkenazi synagogue built between 1891 and 1893 by architects Ernest Stordiau and Joseph Hertogs. This Neo-Moorish brick building still serves as a synagogue.
