The church of St. Adalbert is erected on the hill of St. Wojciech. Built in the 15th century in the Gothic style, it has a wooden bell tower dating from the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries - the oldest wooden monument in Poznań.
The Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and St. Mary Magdalene or "Poznań Fara" is a Baroque parish church and a collegiate church opened in 1705. It stands on the site of an old church dedicated to St. Stanislaus.
The Archicathedral Basilica of St. Peter and St. Paul is the oldest Polish cathedral (founded in 968). The current Gothic cathedral was built in the 14th and 15th centuries, then partially rebuilt after the destruction of the Second World War.
The church of the Blessed Virgin Mary "in summo" (on the town) was built in the 15th century, but its history begins around 965, year of the construction of a castle chapel on the island of Ostrów Tumski.
