The church in Filtvet dates from 1894 and was designed by the architect Alfred Christian Dahl in a historicizing drawing style. The altarpiece is in neo-gothic style, with an oil painting by Karl Johan Holter depicting Jesus and a small child.

The Son Culture Church is a modernist church that was built in 2014. The church has a rectangular plan and was designed by the architectural firm Kvernaas Arkitekter.
Vestby church is a long church designed by Johannes Henrik Nissen and Holm Munthe, and the builder was Gulbrand Johnsen. The poet Johan Herman Wessel (1848-1915) grew up in the vicarage next to the church.
