Gjerdrum Church

The present church in Gjerdrum was built in 1686. The previous church, which may have been from the Middle Ages, burned down in 1684. In 1859-61, the church underwent extensive alterations and repairs. At that time, the church must have received new exterior and interior cladding, a new ceiling and new doors and windows. Probably also at this time, the present sacristy to the east of the choir was erected.
