Grim Church

Kristiansand Cathedral is monumental and richly designed with a strong neo-Gothic touch. It has crossed arms near the choir and towers at the main entrance in the east. The church was built to the designs of Henrik Thrap-Meyer and consecrated in 1885.

The church in Lund has been a "working church" since 1987. The church building was erected after the original church burned down on the night of 13 June 1985. The former church building was a converted "German barracks" which was consecrated in 1958. The architect of the conversion was Alv Erikstad. What was supposed to be a temporary church therefore finally lasted for 27 years.

The church of Oddernes is a long stone church from the 12th century. The church has been largely rebuilt and enlarged, but parts of the brick walls of the nave and the choir with apse have been preserved. The nave was extended to the west in the 1630s and in 1699 a porch with an octagonal tower was built. In the 19th century, the church was given a sacristy and large windows to the south.
