The Kryepazari Mosque is one of the six mosques in the city of Ulcinj. It was built in 1749 by Nuradin Begu. After the 1979 earthquake, the mosque suffered great damage and it was not until 1995 that its reconstruction was completed.
The Namazgjah Mosque is the main mosque in Ulcinj. It was erected in 1728 with a minaret, a madrasah (now destroyed). In 2011, a restoration of the mosque's facade has been started.
The Bregu mosque was built by a local captain, Ahmet Gjyl, in 1783. Like the mosque, the minaret is reminiscent of 18th century Ottoman architecture. During the earthquake of 1979, it suffered extensive damage and it was not until 1986 that its restoration was completed.
The Lami Mosque, also known as the New Mahalla Mosque, was built in 1689 by Haxhi Alija. In the catastrophic earthquake of 1979, the mosque was completely destroyed and did not function for several years. However, thanks to the activity of the Islamic community and the citizens of the city of Ulcinj, the mosque could be rebuilt on the same foundations with a magnificent minaret.
