Kyrkjebø church is a long church dating from 1869, designed by the architect Christian Christie, who was inspired by the stave churches.

The church in Høyanger dates from 1960. It was designed by architects Arnstein Arneberg and Olav Platou and was built and fully financed by the Norwegian Aluminium Company and given as a gift to the local community.
The Bjordal Church is a long church from 1906, designed by the architect Victor Nordan, son of the architect Jacob Wilhelm Nordan. It is the first church in the town. Before it was built, the parishioners used to go to the church in Kyrkjebø, on the north bank of the Sognefjord, a long distance away by boat.
Ortnevik Church, formerly Ortnevik Chapel, is a red-painted church dating from 1925. The building is made of wood and is built in the "dragon style". The architect and builder was Lars Norevik who lived in the village.
