South of Podbořany are the remains of a Jewish Cemetery with around 100 tombstones. The cemetery is surrounded by a stone wall, erected by the ESJF in December 2017.

The Synagogue in Žatec is an Ashkenazi synagogue completed in 1872 by architect Stanĕk. The synagogue was rebuilt in 1911 and 1997. In use until 1938, this Neo-Moorish brick building now serves as a cultural centre.

his 17th century Bohemian cemetery has seen its original masonry wall largely destroyed, leaving the site open to the elements. Dozens of gravestones remain at the site.
