Church of S. Sophie, Pružina

The church of St Sophie is a Gothic building from the first half of the 14th century. It is a single-nave building with a rectangular plan with an attached sacristy and an imagined tower. According to historical materials from the Nitra Bishopric, it is stated that the brothers Melicher and Baltazár Šeffranovics had a chapel built on the site of today's church as early as in the 14th century.

Church of St. James

The Baroque church of St. James was built in the 18th century on top of an older church first mentioned in 1276. The present church burned down twice: in 1814 and in 1882. The tower was built from the old church and according to the design of F. Tomašek from Dubnica, it was rebuilt after 1816. On 7 July 1944 Dubnica was bombed due to the presence of Skoda factories. The church was damaged but repaired in the 1960s.

The Synagogue in Bytča is an Ashkenazi synagogue completed in 1886, rebuilt in 2016-17. This brick building in the Neo-Moorish and Neo-Romanesque style is under reconstruction.
