St Edmund’s Church sits in a prominent position on the main street right in the centre of Acle, a small market town close to the famous Norfolk Broads. It is dedicated to St Edmund, a local saint, born ca. 841, king of East Anglia from about 855 until his death 869 or 870.

St Mary’s church of Fishley is located in the middle of nowhere just outside the Norfolk Broads village of Acle. There is no village “Fishley”, just Fishley Hall to the north of this small church.
The ruins of St Peter’s church are located in North Burlingham, a small village in Norfolk, on a road just to the north of the A47, about halfway between Blofield and Acle. They are in the grounds of a private home, but can be seen from the Main Road.
St Mary's is a round tower church located in Moulton, a Norfolk village 3 miles south of Acle. It is in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust.
