Stavrokonnou Mosque

The mosque is centrally located in the village. The present mosque dates from 1937, replacing a previous mosque on the same site, and was built largely from the stones of the old mosque.

Fasoula Mosque

The mosque of the old village of Fasoula could not be found but was most likely completely destroyed in the earthquake of 1953. According to Bağişkan it was a small building without a minaret, built around the years 1932-1934.The new mosque in what is now Lower Fasoula was built between 1953 and 1956. It is located in a small park-like area directly on the F616 road.

Agios Georgios Mosque

The mosque is located in the centre of the old village centre. The building was erected during the years 1899-1900 and is the village’s first mosque. Until the 1939 the building needed intensive repairs due to its bad condition. The 1953 earthquake also damaged the structure of the mosque and intensive repairs took place between 1954-1956.

Maronas Mosque

The mosque is located centrally in the old village centre. As Bağişkan reports, there has been a mosque in this village since 1805. The current building was probably erected around 1924 and repaired between 1954 and 1956 after the severe earthquake of 1953. In 2004, the mosque was completely restored.
