Sainte-Honorine Church, Graville

The nave and transept date from the 11th century, while the choir dates from the 13th century. In the XVIIth century the building underwent modifications following the installation of the congregation of Saint-Maur, it is thus separated into two parts, a first one for the faithful, a second one for the monks. In 1731, the façade was rebuilt. The church has undergone a total of two phases of devastation, one during the wars of religion, one finally with the bombings of 1944.

Church of elongated Latin cross plan, with a flat apse. A projecting transept is present. The facade is a gable wall on two levels, with a pointed arch portal and a bay with an infilling.

Church opened for worship and consecrated in 1887. Pilgrimages took place between 1899 and 1968, after which they ceased completely. In 1913, the church is affiliated to the Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre. The building was damaged in 1944, its organ was set on fire and a shell burst on the bell tower.
