Byåsen church is a hexagonal church from 1974. In 2004, the church underwent an extensive rebuild but retained its original hexagonal shape.

Havstein Church

The church in Havstein is a long church built in 1857. The building is made of stone and had Heinrich Ernst Schirmer and Wilhelm von Hanno as architects. In 1900, the church received a wooden west tower designed by Gustav S. Olsen and built by the builder Erik Selnes.

The Hoeggen church was built for the anniversary of the city in 1997 (the foundation of the city dates back to 997) and was consecrated on October 12th of that year. The church was designed by Arkitektkontoret Madsø & Sveen in Trondheim, who also designed Herøy Church in Sunnmøre and Grymyr Church in Hadeland.
