Old Upper Synagogue
The Old Upper Synagogue in Mikulov was constructed in the mid 16th century and expanded in 1689. It was designed in a baroque style after fires in the early 1700s. Following World War II the building deteriorated. From 2010 to 2014 the synagogue was restored as part of the “10 Stars” project for the revitalization of Jewish monuments in the Czech Republic.
