St Gerasimos Church in Firostefani (Agios Gerasimos)

The 19th-century church of Agios Gerasimos blends perfectly with the Cycladic architectural style of Santorini. Perched on the rocky hillside of the island, it delights visitors with a breathtaking view of the caldera and an endless blue sea. It is no surprise that this church is one of the most desired places for photographers. The main entrance consists of a portico with three whitewashed arches. But the most outstanding feature of this church is the bell tower, also crowned by the typical blue dome.
