St Helen

There are known to have been two churches built on the present site. The first was a larger stone possibly thatched building dating back to the Saxon or Norman period. The present church and burial vault were built for Richard (the 4th Earl Scarbrough 1725-82) in the classical style around 1775 and is believed to have been designed by Lancelot 'Capability Brown the great 18th century landscape architect.

All Saints

Faldingworth, All Saints has been adapted since the 13th century. The Polish Air Force and Royal Air Force served nearby at the former RAF Faldingworth and this is commemorated throughout the church including in a stained glass window and the porch gates.

St John the Baptist

Scampton, St John the Baptist sits on the western edge of the village below RAF Scampton, where the Dambuster raids were flown from and now home to the Red Arrows. There is an RAF chapel in the church with Squadron badges and there are several Commonwealth War Graves in the churchyard.

St Peter & St Lawrence

A lovely village church with interesting features to be discovered including early 14th century stained glass depicting three medieval family shields of the Percy, Umfraville and Beaumont families. The yellow silver stain used in this stained glass is quite indicative of its very early age.
