Vegusdal Church

The Vegusdal church is a cruciform-shaped church dating from 1867. The Vegusdal church was designed by Conrad Fredrik von der Lippe, built in 1866-67 by the architect Schauffert from Arendal and consecrated by Bishop Jacob von der Lippe (the architect's father) in June 1867.

Herefoss kyrkje

Herefoss Church is an octagonal church dating from 1865 and designed by the architect Jacob Wilhelm Nordan. It is the third church in the town. In 1487, the parish of Herefoss is mentioned in official documents. The two earlier churches were closer to Herefossfjorden, but the town was prone to flooding, so the church was moved further away from the lake.

Mykland Church

Mykland Church is an octagonal church dating from 1832. It was built without plans, but using the church in Hornnes or Årdal (Bygland) as a model. The church was extended in 1882 with a new porch, a raised floor in the choir, a new pulpit, baptismal font and an altarpiece (painted by Christen Brun).

Iveland Church

Iveland church was consecrated in 1837. The church was built by Anders Thorsen Syrtveit after a type drawing by architect Linstow. It was restored for the centenary of the building according to plans by Domenico Erdmann.
