Veme Church

The Veme Church is a long church with a single nave dating from 1893 and designed by the architect Ingvar Hjorth who, among others, designed the new main building of the Norges Bank in 1900.

Hval Church

The Hval church, built in 1860-62 according to the drawings of Chr. H. Grosch, is an octagonal church, extended by a porch, a choir and a sacristy. The drawings of the church of Hval are a variant of one of the types of church of Grosch which was widely used and was published as a model design in 1854.

Ask kapell

The Ask Chapel was built in 1936-37 and designed by the architect L. W. Wilhelmsen. The woodcarvings were made by the famous visual artist Ståle Kyllingstad (1903-1987).

Lunder Church

The church in Lunder is a cruciform church dating from 1761. The church, with a wooden west tower, was originally built in 1706, but was moved to a new site and enlarged in 1761. It is clad on the outside with white-painted wooden panels.
