The church of Heggen is a cruciform stone church dating from the Middle Ages. It consists of a rectangular nave and a narrower and shorter choir with an apse to the east. The nave was extended with the cross-aisle to the north in 1697, and correspondingly with the cross-aisle to the south in 1725. In 1832 a new, larger choir was built and in 1878 the nave was extended westwards. The semicircular arch of the choir opening is the only original opening of the church that has been preserved.
The Nykirke church has replaced an old church from the 17th century. It has a rectangular plan with a tower to the west. The church was designed by Christian Heinrich Groch and was consecrated in 1847. The interior is characterised by the Swiss style.
The Snarum church is a long church dating from 1869. The architect of the church was Georg Andreas Bull. The first church on the site was a Stave church dating from the Middle Ages. It was replaced by a wooden church in 1702 before the present brick church was built in 1869.
