Dating from the 12th century, the building was rebuilt in its entirety during the first half of the 17th century, the choir and the nave around 1620-30, according to a scientific measurement and dating campaign undertaken in 1978.

Located in Cuncy-les-Varzy (Burgundy-Franche-Comté), the parish Church of Saint Martin dates from the early sixteenth century. The building, which is of flamboyant Gothic style, has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1971. Its stained glass windows and several items of furniture, such as a Christ on the cross and a painting representing the Montée au Calvaire, are also listed.

The church of Saint-Martin d'Audruicq located in the centre of the town, was the subject of a major restoration and repointing of the walls of the building, the work of which was completed in 2010.

Église catholique Saint-Martin d'Autingues et son Cimetière has two patron saints : the original is Saint Martin, and Saint Louis was added during the 17th century when the nearby hospital for the poor, dedicated to him, was closed.

Église catholique Saint-Martin d'Embry was built at the end of the 15th century and has three naves, like that of Fressin. It has a narthex and a monumental south porch. But its particularity is that it has kept a large portion of its medieval architecture and original decoration, an architectural summary of the flamboyant gothic style.

The Church of Saint-Martin d'Hallines is a small cathedral which at first sight seems to have come from the Middle Ages. Yet it was built in the 19th century by the architect Clovis Normand, a disciple of Viollet-le-Duc, and uses all the elements of the Gothic style.

The Saint-Martin de Frettemolle church is located in Hescamps, in Picardy. This sixteenth century building has a nave of seven bays ending in a flat chevet. The entrance is the most remarkable part of the building. It has a bay vaulted basket handle, surmounted by a tympanum and a drip decorated with five carved angels. Above the bay is an unfortunately beheaded statue of Saint Martin on his horse.

The church of Saint-Martin, registered with the Historical Monuments, is located in Nocé, in Normandy.It was probably built in the 12th century near the castle Nocé, which was ruined and abandoned after the Hundred Years War. The church is composed of a three bay nave, a choir with a Romanesque semicircular chevet and a square bell tower. The altarpiece and the tabernacle and various paintings and statues are notable features.

The church of Saint-Martin de Tours was first mentioned in historical documents dating back to 1219. Initially, it was built according to a single nave plan with two rectangular choirs, but in 1639 it was completely rebuilt according to a quadrangular hall plan with a single choir. In the same years, side chapels were added and everything was rebuilt according to the baroque taste of the time.

From the first Romanesque church, built in the eleventh or twelfth century, there remains only the rectangular nave. The choir of the church was probably destroyed during the 100 years’ war. The church was renovated during the 15th century with a Gothic choir, and a chapel and transept added. The western portal from the nineteenth century is adorned with a bas-relief depicting St Martin, and the church features many notable classified objects (tombs, grave markers and two altarpieces).
