St Lawrence

St Lawrence church is grade II listed. The present church was built in the Decorated style in 1891 on the site of a previous Georgian church built in 1733 by Revesby Abbey estate owner Joseph Banks, the great grandfather of naturalist Sir Joseph Banks. The 1733 church was built on the site of an even earlier church.

St Benedict

A redundant church brimming with treasures. St Benedict is a lovely grade I listed Norman church, with a stunning decorated east window and a beautifully simple interior. Look out for the 18th century pulpit and the unusual Norman carving above the south doorway.
