Ballangen Church

Ballangen Church was consecrated in 1923 after a royal decree authorised the consecration of a church building on the site for use by settlers on the south side of Ofotfjorden. The church was restored in 1998 and then returned to its original style.

Evenes Church

Evenes Church is a wooden church in the Danish manor house style inaugurated in 1800. Around 1250, Håkon Håkonsson built the first church on the spot. A new church was built on the site in 1677. Both churches were on the same site as the present church. The baptismal font of the present church comes from the first church on the site, dating from the 13th century.
