Bykle Old church

Bykle old church is a wooden church dating from 1620. In front of the western part there is a porch from the 18th century. The interior is characterized by the 17th century with a lot of furniture from that time. The walls are covered with a listed decoration from 1826 and show traces of earlier decorations.

Bykle Church, built between 2000 and 2004, is a wooden "working church" with a long church floor and a gable roof. On the long sides and at the entrance of the church there are low wings that can accommodate various activities. The church was designed by architect Hans Olaf Aanensen.
