The Cartuja de Mirafloreswas built in the 15th century and is an active Carthusian monastery. The very nature of the Carthusian order means that the visit is rather limited.

Burgos Cathedral
Our Lady of Burgos (Catedral de Santa María; Catedral de Burgos) is a Gothic cathedral situated in northern Spain. Although it is predominantly Gothic, this UNESCO World Heritage site also displays other artistic styles, given that it was built over a period lasting from the 13th century to the 16th century. The building is home to a unique collection of works of art, including paintings, choir stalls, sculptures, tombs and stained-glass windows and is an extraordinary summary of European Gothic style.
Abbey of Santa María la Real de Las Huelgas
The Abbey of Santa María la Real de Las Huelgas, is a monastery of Cistercian nuns of San Bernardo. It was founded in 1187 by King Alfonso VIII of Castile and his wife Leonor de Plantagenet. It houses works of great value, including some of the oldest stained glass windows in Spain.
Santo Domingo de la Calzada Cathedral
Work on this cathedral began in 1158 and was not completed in its current form until the 16th century. It contains several important works of art from the Hispano - Flemish style, as well as unique metalworks.
