Chapel built in 1560, under the plague it became an infirmary and under the Revolution it served as a guard post. It became an infirmary again in 1870, with the War.
Small building, elongated plan. Facade in gable wall, pierced by three semicircular arches on piles, surmounted by a pediment.
The present church is dated 1891, following a first older building, which was demolished. The stained glass windows and the roof were damaged during the Second World War.
Built in the 11th century, it became a mosque in the 16th century. It then underwent numerous alterations.
This hermitage dates back to the 12th century, and it is still inhabited by a dozen monks. The Montrieux Monastery is built on the eastern foothills of Sainte-Baume.
