The Chapel of Our Lady of Monserrate an 18th century built beneath one of the arches of the Aqueduct of Sao Bento Street in Lisbon.

About this building

The chapel was built in was built in 1768. Its design is simple: a whitewashed façade with a triangular pediment. It was dedicated to Our Lady of Monserrate, who was the patron saint of the French artisans that worked in the nearby Royal Silk Factory of Lisbon.
