Christ Church, Hampstead, built between 1850 and 1852 in the Early English Gothic style. In 1881-1882, the north porch and north aisle were added. In 2015, major renovation work was carried out on the church.

The origin of Emmanuel Church lies in the rapid development of West Hampstead in the second half of the 19th century after the arrival of the railways. The architect of the church was JA Thomas, of Whitfield and Thomas. The foundation stone was laid on 19 June 1897.
The Hampstead Synagogue in London was completed in 1892 by architect Delissa Joseph. It was restored between 2009 and 2011. This brick building in the Neo-Romanesque style still serves as a synagogue.
