Church of Agios Ioannis Theologos, Elos
The church of St John the Divine (Agios Ioannis Theologos) is an Orthodox place of worship in the centre of the village of Elos.
About this building
The church has a single nave with a vaulted ceiling. It is richly decorated with frescoes attributed to Ioannis Pagomenos, a well-known painter from Crete who decorated many rural Orthodox churches during the Venetian rule in Crete (1205–1669).
