Church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit

The Church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit, built in the 15th century, is the oldest preserved wooden church in Ukraine and one of the tserkvas on a UNESCO list. Nowadays, it is used as a museum of wooden architecture and 16th and 19th century painting.

Church of St. Basil

A wooden Church of St. Basil is mentioned for the first time in documents from 1564-1565. There is no knowledge of a previous church in the area. According to the inscription above the southern door, the current church would have been built in 1733. During the twentieth century, the central dome has been demolished by a storm and restored in 1970.
