The church of Panagia Throniotissa was built at the beginning of the 14th century in the centre of the village of Thronos.
It was built on the foundations of an earlier 4th-century church, as demonstrated by archaeological work in 1983. The church preserves some remains of 6th-century mosaics on the floor and 14th-century wall paintings from after its construction.
The cemetery church of Saint Onuphrius (Agios Onoufrios) is located near the village of Genna. It can be reached by walking along a dirt road that links the village to the cemetery.
The Agia Paraskevi Chapel is located 2.7 kilometres from Kalogeros and 1,º kilometres from Scholi Asomaton. It is a dependency of the Asomati monastery.
The Holy Asomaton Monastery (Moni Asomaton) is a former monastic complex that operated from the second Byzantine period until the 19th century.
