Church ruins of San Martín de Tours

The church of San Martin de Tours in Belchite Viejo (province of Zaragoza, Spain) was built in the first decades of the 15th century, although it was later renovated in 1550. The new opening, included the exterior decoration of the apse. Also, in the 18th century, the nave was enlarged, and another section at its foot, altered chapels a some of the sides were made into a memorial table.

Church of Our Lady of Mercy

The church of Nuestra Señora de la Piedad in Azuara (Province of Zaragoza, Spain), originally responded typologically to the Mudejar fortified church model, so widespread in Aragon during the Late Middle Ages. It was built in the second half of the 14th century, it had a straight chancel and a wide single nave with two sections with side chapels covered with a pointed barrel.

This construction was modified in the 18th century, at which time the orientation of the church was changed, the entrance was enabled through the old chancel, where a high choir was built, and a new presbytery was opened on the opposite side, preceded by a large domed transept in baroque style.

Originally a Gothic-Mudejar church, the church of Santa María la Mayor in Híjar (Province of Teruel, Spain) featured a polygonal apse with exterior buttresses and a single nave consisting of one section covered by a ribbed vault. Although there were renovations in the 16th and 18th centuries, the building's construction started in the 14th century.
