Church of Saint-Bauld
The Saint-Bauld Church is located in Verneuil-sur-Indre, in the Center-Val de Loire region. The building consists of a twelfth century nave covered with a fifteenth century frame. The choir, with flat buttresses, dates from the 12th century. Its upper floor, with the belfry and the spire were rebuilt in the nineteenth century. A porch was built in the eighteenth century on the north side of the nave.

The building consists of a 12th century nave, lit by high semicircular windows and covered with a fifteenth century frame. The choir, with flat buttresses, dates from the 12th century. Its upper floor, with the belfry and spire, were rebuilt in the nineteenth century.
The apse is framed by two apsidioles; the southern one was transformed in the fifteenth century into a seigniorial chapel. It houses marble plaques, that are tribute to the owners of the neighbouring castle. Access to the church is through the eighteenth century entrance portal, that was built on the north side of the nave. Among the furniture, there is an 18th century oak confessional.
