Church of Saint Fleuret, Estaing
A beautiful building from the middle of the 15th century and the beginning of the 16th century, the Saint Fleuret Church is built on the schist spur which evidences the remains of rare rock burials, dating from the 11th century.
About this building
In flamboyant Gothic style, the building is oriented southeast / northwest with its portal to the southwest, preceded by a forecourt itself preceded by a staircase of about twenty steps. Inside, the single vessel is bordered by two side aisles and spans four spans. The pentagonal choir extends the central nave. The nave is covered with ribbed ribs decorated with keystones with the arms of the Estaing family.
