Church of st. Andrew, Polna

Parish Church of St. Andrew in Polna was built around the middle of the 19th century.

About this building

The nave and chancel are covered with a uniform multi-slope roof over the older part of the church. The presbytery is decorated with Renaissance figural polychrome from the mid-19th century. 16th century, discovered in 1966–67. The paintings depict scenes of the Passion of Christ and the figures of saints. The main altar and two late-baroque side altars come from the 18th century. Andrew from the 18th century. Next to the church there is a brick, three-pass bell tower from the 19th century.
