Dominican Monastery, Myślibórz

The Dominican monastery was built at the same time as the monastery church in the second half of the 13th century. In 1543 the monastery was secularized, and after a few years (in 1547) it was closed. In the years 1927-28, a general renovation of the monastery was carried out in order to turn it into a regional museum, which until 1945. In 1956 the municipal and district public library was opened there. Currently, the monastery buildings house local cultural institutions: the Cultural Centre Myśliborski and the Municipal Public Library.

Collegiate Church of John the Baptist, Myślibórz

The foundation of the Collegiate Church of John the Baptist dates back to 1298. In 1697, the foundation of the high altar took place. The church has been damaged several times by destruction and fire. The church, which was Lutheran from 1593, became Roman Catholic after the Second World War.

Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary

The Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is the oldest church in Gorzów Wielkopolski, erected at the end of the 13th century as the town's parish. From the Reformation until 1945, when it was consecrated a Catholic cathedral, the church was a Protestant church. The original form of the church has changed little. A presbytery was added in the 15th century and a baroque helmet on the south tower in the 17th century. More significant changes to the structure of the church took place inside.

Church of St. Anthony Padewski and St. Stanislaus Kostka

The Church of St. Anthony Padewski and St. Stanislaus Kostka was built in 1696-1704 as a joint church for Lutherans and Calvinists. The church is associated with the eminent evangelical philosopher and theologian Friedrich Daniel Ernst Schleiermacher (1768-1834). He was curate from 1794 to 1796 and spent his free time translating, among other things, the writings of the English preacher Blair. Since 1945, the church has been in the possession of the Capuchin order.
