Dominicuskerk

The Dominicus Church is a neo-Gothic church building on the Spuistraat in Amsterdam. It was built as a Roman Catholic Parish Church of Saint Dominic by Pierre Cuypers and served by the Dominicans . The church is no longer part of the Catholic Church, but is used by the Dominican community and rented out.

Nieuwe Kerk

The Sint-Nicolaaskerk (old church) was inaugurated at the end of the 14th century. The building was damaged by the city's fire of 1421 and 1452, but more seriously by the fire of 1645, after which date most of the interior. After the Alteratia of 1578, the church became Protestant. The Nieuwe Kerk, since 1814, is used for royal investitures and weddings. Nowadays, it is also one of the main exhibition centres in Amsterdam.

Oude Kerk

The Oude Kerk, started in the 13th century, is the oldest existing building in Amsterdam. Until the Alteratie (1578) the church was Roman Catholic and was called the St. Nicholas Church. Since 2016, the Oude Kerk has been a museum for contemporary art.
