The complex of the Church of the Assumption or Dormition, built in the 16th and 17th centuries, is a Renaissance church, which today is part of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church. The structure of the building is supported by columns in the Italian Renaissance style. The walls are separated by pilasters with window arches and bas-reliefs. The interior is decorated with paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries and an iconostasis from 1773.
The Goldene Rose Synagogue (Taz, Turei-Zahav, Nachmanowicz) in Lviv is an Ashkenazi synagogue founded in 1582 but destroyed in 1941-43. Over the centuries, this synagogue acquired different styles such as Gothic Survival or Mannerism. It is now abandoned.
Built between 1609 and 1615 is a small private shrine of Boim Family. Is among the prime examples of mannerist architecture in Central Europe! The entire facade is covered with a splendid carving.
The Armenian Cathedral of the Assumption of Mary is located in the city's Old Town, north of the market square. It used to be the cathedral of the Armenian Catholic Archdiocese of Lviv until 1945. Since 2000, it serves as a cathedral of the Eparchy of Ukraine of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
