Drottens ruin
Drottens ruins are the remains of a church built around the 13th or 4th century in Visby. It is right in front of another church ruin, St Lars.
About this building
The name of Drottens comes from the Old Norse word for God or Lord. The church was dedicated to the Holy Trinity. It was built sometime between the 13th and 14th centuries, at the same time as the surviving medieval churches of Gotland.
