Eglise Saint-Michel de Lille
The competition for a church and presbytery project was decided in 1868, and was won by the architect Alfred Coisel, who carried out the construction of the building between 1869 and 1874.
About this building
Built according to a Latin cross plan with a false transept, the church of Saint Michael is south-facing and has a Romano-Byzantine architecture. The church consists of a seven-bay nave flanked by simple side aisles.
