Elvebakken Church

The Elvebakken church is a long church dating from 1964. The church is made of concrete and wood and was built by architect Håkon Soltveit. The stained glass windows in the church show "The Holy Spirit" and "The Cross" and are by Finn Hansen AS.

The Northern Lights Cathedral was consecrated in 2013. The church was designed by the architectural firms Link signature and schmidt hammer lassen architects. The exterior of the cathedral is clad in titanium, based on the idea and execution of Råg Aarnes.

Alta Church

The Alta church is a long church from 1858. The church was built in wood by the architect Stephen Henry Thomas. In the final phase of the Second World War the church was severely damaged and it was not until Christmas Eve 1945 that it could be reused. It has since been modified several times, most recently in 2005-2006.

Rafsbotn Chapel

The Rafsbotn Chapel is a wooden chapel dating from 1989. The first chapel in Rafsbotn was built around 1920, but it was burnt down by the Germans in 1944. A second chapel was completed in 1949, it was replaced by the present chapel in 1988 when the parish of Alta took over the ownership of the chapel.
