Engerdal Church was built in 1873 by the carpenters Johan Olsen from Elverum and Teodor Embretsen Nordvi from Trysil. The altarpiece is a painting by Peder Haugen Pedersen.

The church of Søre Elvdal was inaugurated in 1885. Originally the church was used as a school and chapel. The interior was extensively remodelled when a separate school was built around 1920. The interior was then painted in blue tones.
Drevsjø church is a wooden church built in 1847, but with parts from different periods. The wind wing of the tower bears the year 1886, so that major changes could be made at that time. The interior is characterized by modifications made in 1910.
Nordre Trysil Church is a wooden church built in 2000 according to the plans of architect Anders Gunnestad. The design and proportions were borrowed from the construction of boathouses and Stave church. The interior is made of unpainted pine.
