Evje Church
The Evje Church, inaugurated in 1891, is a typical, relatively simple cross church with a tower to the west and a choir to the east, and with short transepts near the choir. The church, which is characterized by a Swiss-style with gable-shaped windows, is apparently not half-timbered but built in half-timbered construction with exterior and interior panelling. The architect is unknown, but the builder is Ludvig Karlsen from Stokken.
