The Ruthenian Greek Catholic Church was built in 1784 and took on its present appearance when it was renovated in 1836. The rich sculpture of the iconostasis wall is the work of Aksentije Marković from 1791. Three years later, Arsenija Teodorović was engaged for the painted decoration of the choir. The mural decoration was painted in 1936 by Milenko Đurić.

Ruvo Cathedral, built between the 12th and 13th centuries, is one of the most important examples of Romanesque architecture in Puglia. The construction of the cathedral was commissioned in the 11th century by Robert III of Loritello, an important baron of the kingdom of Sicily.

The exact period of the cemetery’s establishment is unknown. The earliest tombstone dates back to 1875. It cannot be found marked on old maps of the region. Ruzhyn was captured by the Germans in July 1941, and 750 Jews were shot in September 1941. The remaining Jews from Ruzhyn and the nearby communities were confined in a ghetto. The majority of them were killed in May 1942. According to the 2001 census, there were less than 10 Jews living in Ruzhyn.

The Rygge church is a 12th century Romanesque stone church built of quarried stone, granite and gneiss. Inside, you can admire preserved furniture from the Middle Ages as well as frescoes.

The Rykestrasse synagogue was built in 1903/04 in the Romanesque Revival style. It is located in Prenzlauer Berg, a district at the heart of Berlin's Jewish life until the beginning of the Nazi regime. Since its reopening in 1953, it has been the largest synagogue in Germany.

The church in Rysum dates back to the 12th century but several wooden buildings probably preceded it. In the 14th century, a brick tower was built in place of the old tower and at the beginning of the 15th century, the old nave of the church was replaced by a building with a rectangular hall attached to the tower. In 1585, according to an inscription, the church tower was fundamentally renovated. The church has one of the oldest organs in Northern Europe, dating from 1457, which can still be played.

The cemetery has 194 tombstones dating from 1863 to 1935.

Ræge church is a brick church completed in 2009. The architect of the church is Henriette Sagland.

Rælingen church is a long church from 1828. The church was changed a good deal by a rebuilding in 1887, and the sacristy was extended in the 1950s. In the churchyard is a grave chapel from 1926.

Røa Church is a long church built of reinforced concrete mixed with pumice on the inside and red brick on the outside according to the plans of municipal architect Georg Greve in 1939. It is one of the first "working churches" (A church building that includes numerous additional rooms for meetings and activities) in Norway. The interior is in functionalist style and the nave has a wall that can be opened to the parish hall.
