A quarter of an hour's walk from the Eltz castle, this small chapel dates from the 18th century and is a place of serenity far from the tourists.

The present baroque church of Coloman dates back to the 17th century, but an older building dedicated to St. Coloman existed before its construction. It is said that the Irish pilgrim would have stopped there in the summer of 1012 during his pilgrimage to the Holy Land.

The start of construction of St. Peter dates back to 1296 and ended approximately at the end of the 14th century. There were repeated structural interventions: in 1674 and 1853 the spires and parts of the tower burned down, in 1898 and 1899 a fundamental restoration was carried out, during which the medieval structure of the choir and the side naves was lost. But they were restored in the style of the construction period.

The former St. Adelheid Church in Geldern, built in 1967-1968, has been transformed into a senior residential facility while preserving its architectural features, following a collaborative effort between the church and local authorities.

The St. Agnes church, built from 1964 to 1967, is a former brutalist church designed by Werner Düttmann. Partially abandoned in the 2000s, it has been taken over by the König Gallery since 2015, which has turned it into a museum of contemporary art.
