The building, in the province of Utrecht, is a municipal monument. After several years of wrangling over the zoning plan, the building has now been demolished. Only a few monumental walls remained. The community is growing and needs more seats. These will become available thanks to the new construction, even more than that. There are also sixty seats available in a new hall.
