In construction late Gothic building of which the choir closure and south wall were renewed or bricked in the second half of the 19th century. Heavy west tower with niche section in the second and third section and covered by saddle roof. The southern cartouche with coat of arms of Sminia recalls the restoration of the church in 1743. However, the roof was already renewed in 1726. In the church beautiful 17th century pulpit with rear bulkhead and sounding board. Closed baptismal gate and two covered gentlemen's pews. Communion table. Wainscoting. Two pews with baluster railing; forty pews with carved end pieces, two text boards with carved frame; Ten Commandments board with painted representation of Moses with the Tables of the Law in carved frame. Three copper crowns. Two-manual organ made in 1911 by Bakker and Timmenga instead of the Radersma organ that was moved to the Herv. Church in Metslawier. Bell tower with the sound of two bells, one by T. Both, 1590, diam. 125 cm. and one by H. Falck, 1620, diam. 115 cm. Mechanical tower clock D. Wielinga, Franeker, 1922, has been decommissioned.

This church is listed as a Municipal Monument of the Netherlands.

This architecturally very interesting, special church (architect JA Smits), with a small tower, was called the "Small Church" since the local SOW / PKN process, opposite the Reformed "Large Church" of Tj. Kuipers. In the long term, the PKN Halfweg-Zwanenburg only wanted to maintain this "Small Church", which was being restored and redesigned for this purpose from around the end of 2009 to spring 2011. Delays in the implementation of these plans arose due to the fact that all of this had to be financed from the proceeds of the (eventually to be demolished) Reformed "Large Church". In terms of architecture and layout, this Small Church is somewhat similar to Anglican churches and cathedrals in Great Britain, especially the elongated and straight-ended choir.

This church represents the Protestant Reformed faith and has roots tracing back to the Reformation. The current building was established in the 19th century and has been a center for community worship ever since.

In 1575, the previous church was largely destroyed by fire. The nave of this church was rebuilt in its original state. The ruins of the choir were never restored. The church was severely damaged by salt water during the flood disaster of 1953. After the disaster, the church was thoroughly restored. The tower was straightened. On 17 July 1958, a new organ was put into use. Because the salt water had penetrated deep into the walls, the plaster layer of the walls regularly came loose. The inside of the walls was thoroughly restored in 1997. A new layer of plaster was applied, which means that the problem of the walls coming loose will probably be a thing of the past. The church is called Sint-Alardskerk.

Historic village church with tower. Nieuwenhoorn is a small village north of Hellevoetsluis. This church is listed as a National Monument of the Netherlands.

Reformed Church. Built in 1678-81 and largely renovated in 1844, retaining the substructure. Simple hall church with three-sided closure and stepped gable on the entrance side. Organ with main work and subpositive, made in 1856 by Gebr. Scheuer. Mechanical tower clockwork, has been decommissioned.

In the years 1881-1884 the firm Ibach built an organ for the Reformed Church in Rhenoy. The instrument was built in the church by Adrianus van Ingen. Upon completion the Gemshorn 8' and the Trumpet of the Main Work were reserved. These were never installed again. In 1950 the firm De Koff & Zn. carried out a revision. They placed the third choir of the Sesquialter as an independent register on the reserved slide of the Trumpet 8'. The firm SF Blank restored the organ in 1990. The Sesquialter was restored. The slide of the Trumpet remained unoccupied.
