Roman Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart, 1929-1930, in a Business Expressionist architectural style. Built by order of the Roman Catholic Church Board of the Sacred Heart in Overhoven, based on a design by architect Jos. Wielders in Sittard. Situated in the linear development on the east side of the Geldersestraat, on the south side of the rectorate house and monastery. On the northwest side of the church, as part of the brick property boundary, there is a SACRED HEART STATUE on a brick plinth with the inscription "Feast of the Sacred Heart, 1943". There is a connecting corridor between the sacristy and the rectorate house and monastery. The extension on the east side of this connecting corridor, as well as the renovated entrance to the day chapel with the round brick retaining wall on the southwest side, are EXCLUDED from protection.

With elements of Neo-Romanesque in 1931 to a design by the architects Caspar and Jos. Franssen from Roermond built church in honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The church is situated in a small park. In front of the church is a Sacred Heart statue from around 1935 in artificial stone on a plinth of Kunradersteen. Around the Sacred Heart statue is a natural stone wall with columns with iron bars in between. At the rear of the church on the altar side is a Lourdes grotto also from around 1935 (1940 according to the year at the grotto) built from so-called hard mine stone with an altar table, a pulpit and a niche with a statue of Mary.

Characteristic work from the oeuvre of Hendrik W. Valk (1886-1973) from 's Hertogenbosch, designed according to the so-called Christocentric design (priest's chancel at the intersection of nave and transept). The wide, brick-vaulted nave is flanked by two side aisles; against the tower two transepts. The interior is entirely built of beautiful brickwork. Characteristic are the sculpted apostle heads by Jozef Cantré (1890-1957) and the painted Stations of the Cross by Lodewijk Schelfhout (1881-1943). The stained glass windows are by Joep Nicolas (1897-1972). The robust, relatively low tower body is crowned by an imposing spire.

The Heilig Hart van Jezuskerk (Sacred Heart of Jesus) is a Roman Catholic parish church in the neighbourhood of Oud-Caberg, in Maastricht. It was built between 1876 ​​and 1877. The nave was designed by Architect Johannes Kayser, the tower by by Willem Sprenger. The enlargement of the chancel was the work of architect Alphons Boosten.

Roman Catholic Church of the Holy Heart, BECAUSE of the single-manual organ with 10 registers, made in 1830 by the Gebr. Schauten from Jüchen, Germany) for the St. Peter's Church in Gulpen, placed in Heerlen-Schandelen in 1928. Restored in 1968 by the company DA Flentrop (Zaandam).

The first pile was driven on 21 January 1910 and nine months later the church was ready. At first the church stood alone between the meadows, but soon after the opening other houses, shops and a café were added. This created the heart of the current village. On 22 November 1910 the church was consecrated by Dean Ebbinkhuizen. The consecration by Bishop Callier took place on 1 May 1911.
