The Golders Green Synagogue in London was built in 1921-1922 by architects Digby Lewis Solomon and Joseph Messers. This brick building in the Neo-Georgean style still serves as a synagogue.

Grimsby Minster

The church was mentioned in the Domesday Book and there is evidence of Roman and Saxon material in the west wall. St James' received Minster status in 2010. This large, cruciform church suffered bomb damage on 14th July 1943 when two bombs dropped into the churchyard, destroying the north wall of the transept and damaging most of the glass.

Reaching skywards, the Cathedral stands on a commanding spot on Stag Hill, just moments from main transport routes and fifteen minutes’ walk from the town centre. The interior is in complete contrast to its exterior, and well worth a visit for your fix of awe and wonder.

Gunwen Methodist Church was built 1869. Gunwen is not our easiest church to find. It lies two miles north of Luxulyan adjacent to Breney Common Nature Reserve and looks towards Helman Tor. It's lovely country for a picnic.

Hackney and East London Synagogue in London

The Hackney and East London Synagogue in London was completed in 1897 by architects Delissa Joseph and Cecil Eprile. The synagogue was rebuilt in 1936. This Art Deco brick building was sold in 2009 to the Brasilian Pentacostalist church.
